On our tree

Every year since I can remember, my mother has gotten me a Barbie ornament. This is my first one I ever got. She decided to switch up the decorations this year and added a new kind of ornament.
That's right! A cupcake! Can you imagine how girly our tree is now? Barbies and cupcakes?! Nonetheless, my dad loves it. Of course, he got to add his own ornaments; woodland creatures from Pottery Barn has been his pick for the past few years. Barbies, cupcakes, and woodland creatures. I love our Christmas tree.

Merry everything & happy always

For my family's Christmas dinner, I made my peppermint patty cupcakes and decided to decorate them a little differently than usual. These were a hit with my family and I got to store them in my new cupcake caddy!

The Refresher

A refreshing cupcake amidst all of the chocolate during the holiday season. Lemon ginger cake topped with a light lemon buttercream and garnished with a candied lemon slice. The lemon and ginger flavors compliment each other so neither of them is too overpowering. The icing is a perfect blend of tart and sweet; and the lemon on top ties it all together!

Holy Cannoli!

I was quite surprised by how awesome this cupcake turned out. This little delight is made from vanilla-cinnamon cake, filled with homemade cannoli filling and topped with cream cheese icing and mini chocolate chips. A new twist on a classic italian dessert.

Peppermint surprise inside!

You're going to want to try this one, it's my favorite cupcake so far. I used my (perfected) chocolate cake with a dash of peppermint in the batter. In the middle of this little treat you'll find a peppermint patty baked right in; all garnished with festive red and white vanilla buttercream icing (the picture doesn't do it justice), green sprinkles and another peppermint patty on top! Sound like too much peppermint? Trust me it's not.

Better than a gingerbread man

The first of my winter holiday flavors collection. This gingerbread cupcake will be your new pick over a gingerbread cookie. Gingerbread cake made with all the right amount of spices and molasses topped with cinnamon buttercream icing and a dash of ground nutmeg to start the holidays off right.
